2024 GMC Acadia

Depending on the trim, the 2024 GMC Acadia can accommodate seven or eight people. The front-row legroom has improved. Furthermore, the luxurious Denali trim features one-touch folding second-row seats and a power-folding third-row.

The big news for the 2024 GMC Acadia is the inclusion of the Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance system, available on the top three trims. Super Cruise can be used on over 400,000 miles of roads in Canada and the U.S., integrating trailering assist and automatic lane changes.

All Acadia variants come with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The base Elevation trim features an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat and four-way power lumbar adjustment. Meanwhile, the Elevation Premium adds second-row captain's chairs, reducing the seating capacity to seven. It also includes a six-way power front passenger seat.

GMC has updated the Acadia's exterior with an evolutionary design approach. While the changes aren't drastic, the new look is tighter, more expressive, and more premium. The increased size enhances its presence on the road.

Like the latest Sierra 1500, the 2024 Acadia features C-shaped LED daytime running lights around the main headlights and a larger grille. The SUV's extended length is noticeable from the side view, and the rear sports redesigned taillights that mimic the shape of the front lights. High-end German SUVs inspire the modern tailgate design.

The 2024 GMC Acadia features a single-engine option: a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. These figures surpass the previous V-6, which delivered 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. All trims feature an eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the old nine-speed. While front-wheel drive remains standard, all-wheel drive is available.

The AT4 trim includes an off-road-capable Active Torque Control AWD system, hill descent control, and selectable driving modes, such as Terrain mode. Moreover, the towing capacity has increased to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped, up from the previous 4,000 pounds.
